On our last day on Oahu (Saturday, November 28th) the guys took some of the older children to Pearl Harbor, while the moms took the younger kidlets for one last walk down the Waikiki shopping strip and to the International Market Place. Miles graciously took the camera with and humoured me with some pictures...

On December 7th, when we were on Maui, we noticed all the flags were at half mast. At first I thought maybe another soldier had died but then Miles remembered that it was the anniversary of Pearl Harbor
