Nawiliwili, Kaua'i - day one

We had a beautiful day on Kaua'i - we got off the boat and went to the beach for a bit. The boys enjoyed some shaved ice, sand and surf! Later in the evening we went on a shore excursion to Luau Kalamaku. The bus picked us up from the boat and took us the luau...

Mmm... shaved ice :)

what a glorious day...

Liam wanted a picture with this anchor & balloons sooo bad but my camera battery had died - thankfully I was able to squeeze out another picture :)

The Plantation train

On our plantation train ride @ Luau Kalamaku - we saw sugar canes, pineapple, coffee and numerous experimental crops, as well as pigs, cows, goats etc

On the train - the boys were a little disapointed that all their cousins got to ride up front in the engine
