Wednesday, December 2nd, we were in Kona, Hawaii, only we weren't allowed to actually 'dock' there (due to shallow waters and lack of a big enough pier) so we got to ride the tender boats to shore! We had a great day browsing shops, going on a glass bottom boat ride and eating lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp :)
All Aboard... heading to Kona on the Tender Boats
Tender boat
Christmas decor - I loved all the Christmas decorations everywhere but did find it extremely hard to accept inflatable polar bears and snowmen on Hawaiian lawns!

"now I lay me down to sleep"... checking out the fish below but kinda looks like they're praying eh?

Bubba Gump Shrimp - a very fun lunch experience :)
There were these licence plates on the tables and if you needed your waitress, you flipped it to RUN Forrest and if all was well you flipped it to STOP Forrest!
Miles' parents
The drink & dessert menu was on the ping pong paddle!
The kids' meals were served in a ship
Mmmm.... shrimp platter
The store where I bought a new bathing suit... there were a bunch of fun stores along there
"Donkey Balls" - this store specialized in chocolate covered macadamia nuts (lots of variations) and is in conjunction with
"Surfin' Ass Coffee" (hence you get the 'donkey')... anyways, Cole was not to be left out and demanded his fair share of Bonkey Balls too!
Farewell Kona...
