Whale Watching (Cabo)

One of the highlights of our trip was our whale watching excursion! The weather was gorgeous, the food was great and the whales and sights were AMAZING!

Parasailing (Cabo)

Well believe it or not... I went parasailing! On the boat, I thought I was for sure going to back out, I was soooooo nervous but I did it and it was a great experience! It is so great to be able to reel in and out from the boat, without having to run along the beach or worry about a crash landing! Once in the air, it was so peaceful & calm and the view was spectactular! A truly amazing experience! Our friends Mike & Tanya also went parasailing and the last four pictures are of them, showing some of the view & the heights we got to! Ever been?

Bits & Pieces... farewell Hawaii

Here are a few more odds & ends pictures from our trip and journey home... we left at 11:30pm from the Kahalui Airport in Maui (Dec 12) and flew through the night, getting into the Vancouver Airport around 7am. The rest of the day was spent in and out of airplanes & airports and we walked through the doors of our home at 4am, December 14th! Needless to say, the boys did not go to school that day!

this man was in our resort lobby for a couple days, displaying all his wood crafts - the boys each wanted a tiki for their Hawaiian souvenir & daddy consented...

Tiki time :)

... on the back he carved their names & did an amazing job (click on the picture to really see it)

ALOHA - at the entrance of our resort

new goggles that daddy bought the boys (not Cole's)

packing up my valuables :)

ah... the beauty

Hanakao'o Cemetery - we passed this unique cemetery almost every day & were kind of awed that it was just dirt...

The sun is setting on our holiday...

Kihei (our last stop before the airport) - the boys wanted a picture by this sign cuz 'LuLu's" was at the top of it... one of my nick names!

At the airport & waiting for daddy while he returns the rental car @ 10pm - we were in for a long night!

... after a LONG day & not overly impressed to be heading home!

Ick - it is snowing outside the Vancouver Airport & reality is starting to set in....

A fun kiddie maze at the airport

Cole all buckled in & ready to fly (bringing his carseat on the plane was the best decision ever!)

Ethan - heading home with a whole new batch of freckles!!!

Liam & Jackson - very 'in' to the West Jet safety options :)
