Sail Away...

We set sail on Saturday, November 28th, returning one week later on December 5th. Our ship was the Norweigan Cruise Line's 'Pride of America' and we cruised around the Hawaiian Islands.... here are some pictures from the ship (our shore excursions will be posted separately)

Getting on to the boat!

NCL - Pride of America

A sunset as we set sail one night

Elephant - we loved to see the daily towel creations & you know you have boys when they constantly fought over who got to 'destroy' it :)

The grand staircase by the reception area

first morning on the boat - watching tv in their room

Breakfast at the Skyline Restaurant - all decorated for Christmas

Fun carpet in the hallway

Teddy Bear picnic at Kids Club

Fun carpet in our room :)

These four little lounge chairs were in a row between the big chairs so I attempted to get a nice picture but they never once all cooperated at the same time!

The kiddie pool

Cole at the kiddie pool

Kiddie pool

Cole with a 'snake'

Pool fun with cousins - tackling Brendan was a favourite pastime

'King Cole' - a castle theme at Kids Club

Lava Flow as we sailed by the Kilauea Volcano - 'Madame Pele', one of the most active volcanoes! (We were able to stand on our deck and watch)

Jackson entertaining Cole in our room :)

The kids' 'Aloha Buffet' - just around the corner from the Aloha Buffet was a perfect kid-size buffet! We often fed them here and then took them to Kids Club, while we went somewhere else for supper (it was just faster and easier and they preferred it)

Boys on the staircase (Miles' entire family had pictures done here that night)

On Wednesday night, we paid the cover charge and went to Teppenyaki's for supper

Liam with either a chicken or monkey... what do you think?

Me & my hubby on the staircase

Pool closed - on our last day of sailing the main pool was closed because it was so rough! I didn't even get a picture of it at its worst!

Great idea to feed your kids first and then go for your dinner. Nice that there was so much for the kids to do on the ship.
Also, I love your description of how the kids fought about who got to destroy the towel creations!!! Boys!
